I’m beginning to plan our European Backpacking Adventure for 2011!
Here is my Expense Breakdown so far; what am I forgetting? (Probably a lot of things.)

1. Flight: ~$2500 round trip, 2 pple (Student Universe)
2. Eurail (15 days in 2 months): ~$1950, 1 youth/1 adult (Eurail)
3. Accommodations (including camping, hostels, wwoofing, couch surfing, etc): <$25/ day; $1500 for 60 days.
4. Wwoofing Membership: $20-40 fee, depending on country; must pay for each country (we’ll probably only do this in one or two.)
5. Traveler’s Insurance: $90, 2 pple (iNext) (+Get a discount on airfare.)
6. Equipment: Backpack–$65-75 (Amazon: TETON Sports Explorer 4000 Internal Frame Backpack, for example); Tent– $50 (Amazon: Coleman Hooligan 2 Backpacking Tent, perhaps.)
7. US Passports: Between $100-175. <$100 (new), $75 (Renewal)>
8. Visas: None necessary, if staying less than 3 months.
